Introduction to various models of 5-series aluminum sheets

It can be used to manufacture oil tanks, oil pipes, as well as sheet metal parts for transportation vehicles, ships, instruments, streetlight brackets, rivets, hardware products, etc. Representative applications include heavy-duty and medium-duty truck fuel tanks, as well as laptop casings and keyboard materials, and cabinet materials. The 5754 aluminum alloy has a higher Mg content than 5052, but it has higher strength and better elongation performance than 5052. It is mainly used in welding structures, storage tanks, pressure vessels, ship structures and offshore facilities, and transport tanks. It is commonly used in the production of high-speed rail sound barriers, welding of sheet metal parts in high-speed rail interiors, and other structural components. The 5083 alloy has a higher Mg content, higher strength, and corrosion resistance. It can be used for ship, automobile, and aircraft panel welding parts; pressure vessels, refrigeration equipment, TV towers, drilling equipment, transportation equipment, missile components, armor, etc. Its most common applications are in ship aluminum sheets, gas storage tanks, and large tank truck bodies. The 5182 alloy is mostly processed into thin plates for the production of easy-to-pull can lids, pull rings, automobile body panels, steering wheels, reinforcement parts, brackets, and other components. The 5A05 and 5A06 have better welding properties compared to other alloys in the 5-series. They are mainly used in welding structures, cold die forged parts, welded containers, aircraft skin bone components, etc.
