Differences between 5052A-H32 Aluminum Sheet and Other Aluminum Sheets

  • Difference from 6061 Aluminum Sheet

Performance: The 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet is characterized by fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, good welding performance, and favorable plasticity. The 6061 aluminum sheet has features like corrosion resistance, weldability, and good oxidation effect.

Application Range: The 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet is commonly used in environments with high rust prevention requirements. The 6061 aluminum sheet is typically applied in areas where high strength is demanded.

Alloy Elements: The alloy element of the 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet is magnesium. The 6061 aluminum sheet contains alloy elements of magnesium and silicon.

States: The 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet has three states including H32. The 6061 aluminum sheet only has two states, T6 and T651.

  • Difference from 7075 Aluminum Sheet

The 7075 aluminum sheet has extremely high strength and good mechanical properties and anodic reaction, mainly used in manufacturing aircraft structures and other high-stress structural parts that require high strength and strong corrosion resistance. In contrast, the 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet has medium strength and is more suitable for environments with high rust prevention requirements.

  • Difference from 1060 Aluminum Sheet

Alloy Difference: The 1060 aluminum sheet has an aluminum content of around 99.60% and is pure aluminum. The 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet is an aluminum-magnesium alloy with an aluminum content of about 95% and a magnesium content of about 4%.

Performance Difference: The 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet has excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and outstanding formability. The 1060 aluminum sheet belongs to a relatively commonly used series of products.

Process Difference: The manufacturing process of the 5052A-H32 aluminum sheet is more complex, while that of the 1060 aluminum sheet is relatively simple.
